Project Details

The Wynn Palace project located at the Cotai Strip in Macau is a $4.1 billion project due to be completed in early 2016. With a site area of over 450,000m2 this project will be the world’s largest gaming hub for Wynn Resorts. The hotel and casino will include a luxury hotel, gaming areas, dining, and retail and convention facilities along with numerous special attractions. Rondo provided this project with all the Drywall Steel Stud Partition Systems for the podium, gaming areas and the hotel tower. Included in the plan were also specially designed and supplied maintenance WALK–ABOUT Trafficable Ceiling Systems as per the project requirements.

The project incorporates a huge amount of high wall designs in and around the podium and gaming area which were more than 11 metres high and came with many different fire and acoustic rating requirements. The projects specification called for all products used to be certified to comply with the “American Standard Testing Method” (ASTM) requirements and also to have the American Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Compliance. Rondo Malaysia’s Technical Services Team ensured that the systems and materials Rondo offered fully met their clients requirements and that the submission and approval process was fully complied with. This is the largest single supply contract Judah Steel has ever had. Worth over $20 million, Judah Steel has supplied over 90 different products from six different countries. By the time the Wynn Casino is complete, Rondo will have shipped over one thousand sea container movements for this project.
